Late 70's Greco FB980 Firebird Replica - Heavily Modified Guitar in Yate, Gloucestershire for sale

It's believed to be a Greco FB 980, a copy of a Gibson Firebird dating from the late 70's. When I got this guitar it was a real wreck and had had a horrendous respray, so I have made some modifications to actually make it usable. These include: • stripping the paint to the original finish • replacement nut (fitted as best as possible) • genuine Steinberger tuners fitted • replacement electronics • replacement pickups - Ibanez INF 3 and INF 4 pickups Despite it's appearances and obvious shortcomings, it does have quite a fast neck and is actually very fun to play, the Ibanez pickups giving it a strong rock/metal tone. It really is best that this guitar is appreciated in person and taken as what it is, a frankensteinesque monster! £300
